Terms of service

These terms govern your use of QRated (qrated.palinntech.com), a product of PAL Innovation and Technology, Bengaluru. By creating an account or using the platform you agree to them.

Who can use QRated

• Registered food and beverage businesses operating in India, plus their employees. You must be 18+.
• Diners who scan a QR do not need an account and are not bound by these terms beyond applicable law.

Your content

You retain full ownership of your menu, photos, logos, and brand. You grant QRated the minimum licence needed to display your content on the public menu, print kit, OG previews, and order surfaces.

Acceptable use

• Don't upload illegal content or infringe third-party rights.
• Don't abuse the platform (spam, scraping, mass scan-click inflation).
• Don't attempt to bypass tenant isolation or authentication.

Plans

• There are three plans: Free, Starter and Pro. Every plan covers one outlet per account. The item and theme caps, the features each plan unlocks and the prices are shown on the pricing page and are subject to change with 30 days' notice.
• Every new account gets a 14-day Starter trial with no card. After it, the account continues on Free unless you upgrade.
• Paid plans are billed yearly by UPI autopay through Cashfree. Prices are before 18% GST, which is added to the subscription and to the platform fee; you receive a GST tax invoice for both.
• Diner payments made online are processed by Cashfree and settle to your own bank account. QRated charges a platform fee on online payments only, at the rate shown on the pricing page, and nothing on orders paid at the counter. Guest refunds come from the restaurant: online from its own share of that order before it settles, or in person at the counter. QRated's platform fee and the GST on it are not refundable.

Cancellation and refunds

Stop renewal any time from Settings; the paid year is non-refundable. If a renewal debits and you tell us within 7 days without having used the paid features, we refund it in full.

Cancellation stops the next renewal; the current paid year runs to completion. If autopay stops, the account drops to Free and nothing is deleted.

Uptime

We aim for 99.9% monthly uptime. We don't offer a contractual SLA on Free or Starter. Pro customers with active subscriptions can request credits for extended outages. Contact hello@palinntech.com.

Liability

QRated is provided on an "as is" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties. Our liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

Changes

We can update these terms. Meaningful changes get an email to the account owner. Continued use after the change date means acceptance.

Governing law

Indian law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru.
